Nick Cheam Chung Kit is the former Chairperson for the 2024-2025 Computer/ICT Club of SMK Taman Desa. As a student of SMK Taman Desa, he has represented the school in numerous national and international level competitions, including the renowned ASEAN Quiz 2022, where he successfully completed the third round of national qualifications (12th place nationally) to achieve a solid Excellent Distinction. He is also the youngest person to be involved in the Google Trusted Media Summit, participating in a Fireside Chat discussing about the role of Gen Z in today's world as the representative of the Google Youth Verification Challenge 2022.

In 2023, he emerged as the state champion for the upper secondary school category in the Minecraft Education Challenge 2023 and went on to secure 6th place nationally. Because of this achievement, he and Nasrullah bin A M Noorullah as the runner up for the competition were invited to the Digital Utilisation and Technology Awards (DUTA) 2023 for Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, where they were both recognised for their achievements.

In 2024, he furthered solidified his involvement in national-level competitions with his participation in the final round of the Malaysia National Science Week STEM Quiz and becoming among the top 150 Finalists in the Bursa Malaysia Investment Challenge.
